Book & Stage Store provides a platform for the sale of books, merchandise, memberships, event tickets, author services and other literary-related products and services.
Product descriptions, pricing and availability are subject to change without notice.
Payments
Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party providers including SumUp, Stripe, Eventbrite and TicketTailor where applicable.
Book & Stage Store does not store or process payment card information directly.
Memberships
Membership payments may be processed via Stripe or SumUp.
Membership Options
Monthly Membership – Auto-renews every 30 days unless cancelled.
Annual Membership – Auto-renews every 12 months unless cancelled.
How to Cancel
You may cancel your membership at any time using the relevant payment provider’s customer portal or by contacting Book & Stage Store.
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Membership fees are non-refundable once a billing period has commenced. No refunds are offered for partially used membership terms.
Event Tickets
Event tickets may be sold directly by Book & Stage Store or through Eventbrite, TicketTailor, SumUp or other approved ticketing providers.
These platforms provide ticketing and payment processing services in accordance with their own terms and conditions.
Booking & Refund Policy
Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Book & Stage Store or the event organiser.
If an event is cancelled, ticket holders will be offered a full refund or, where applicable, the option to transfer their booking to a rescheduled date.
Requests to transfer tickets may be considered at our discretion but cannot be guaranteed.
This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
Event Attendance
Attendees are expected to behave respectfully towards speakers, organisers, venue staff and other attendees. We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove individuals whose behaviour is disruptive, abusive or unsafe.
Signed Books and Personalised Products
Many books sold through Book & Stage Store are signed, dedicated or otherwise personalised to order.
Once a book has been signed, personalised, prepared for dispatch or dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied.
This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
Order Fulfilment
Physical products sold through Book & Stage Store may be dispatched directly by the author, creator or supplier responsible for that product.
To enable orders to be fulfilled, Book & Stage Store may share relevant customer details, including name and delivery address, with the supplier solely for the purpose of processing and dispatching the order.
While products may be fulfilled by individual suppliers, Book & Stage Store will assist customers in resolving fulfilment, delivery or product-related issues where possible.
Author Services
Book & Stage Store may offer editorial, promotional, consultancy, mentoring, manuscript assessment and other author-related services.
Unless otherwise stated, fees for completed services are non-refundable.
Any timescales provided are estimates and may be subject to change.
Limitation of Liability
Book & Stage Store shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of this website or the purchase of products or services, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.
